Brent Cycle Strategy

The strategy aims to achieve the following vision for cycling in Brent:

  • To make Brent a borough where everyone can cycle safely, in comfort and with confidence.
  • Enable people of all ages and abilities from every section of Brent’s diverse society to see cycling as a good option for everyday travel

The strategy has been drafted based on feedback last year from residents who were asked what they thought were the most important factors to make Brent a great borough to cycle in.

Brent Council is keen to get more people cycling in the borough. The results and comments from the consultation will help Brent Council agree a final strategy that will address how it can improve cycling in the borough and make cycling an attractive and accessible option for everyone.

The results from the consultation will be taken into consideration to agree a final Cycle Strategy to be approved by Cabinet in December 2015.
