A blog that speaks out about the issues and concerns of people who live in the Kilburn area of the London Borough of Brent.
Councillor Duffy started blogging. And it’s very, very interesting.
The strategy aims to achieve the following vision for cycling in Brent:
The strategy has been drafted based on feedback last year from residents who were asked what they thought were the most important factors to make Brent a great borough to cycle in.
Brent Council is keen to get more people cycling in the borough. The results and comments from the consultation will help Brent Council agree a final strategy that will address how it can improve cycling in the borough and make cycling an attractive and accessible option for everyone.
Read the draft strategy and fill in the consultation here:
http://brent-consult.limehouse.co.uk/portal/ens/htdel/cycle_strategy2015
Paper feedback forms are available from local libraries and sports centres from Wed 17 June. There are also a number of face-to-face consultation events across the borough [full list below]
The results from the consultation will be taken into consideration to agree a final Cycle Strategy to be approved by Cabinet in December 2015.
There are a number of consultation events across the borough. Residents and stakeholders are invited to come along to gain a better understanding of the Draft Strategy and ask officers questions in person:
Kingsbury Station – Monday 15th July 4pm -7pm
Vale Farm Sports Centre – Wednesday 24th June 4pm – 7pm
Gladstone Park – Saturday 4th July 1pm – 4pm
Brent Civic Centre/Arena Square – Wednesday 8th July 11am – 3pm

#BinsofBrent is our hashtag.
For those of you who don’t know what a hashtag is, it’s basically a key-word on the Internet, more specifically on Twitter. Just let’s imagine it’s a banner, our banner for that fight.
If you are tired of the way Brent Council deals with our bins too, please drop us a line : info@elevenstreets.org.uk
